苏莱曼Tek received his B.S. degree with cum laude in Mathematics in 2001 from Department of Mathematics, Dokuz Eylul University, 伊兹密尔, 火鸡. 他得到了M。.S. 和Ph值.D. degree in Mathematics under the supervision of Dr. Metin Gurses in 2003 and 2007, 分别, from the Department of Mathematics, Bilkent University, 安卡拉, 火鸡. Dr. Tek continued his career as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at University of Arkansas at 小石城 (UALR) and worked on a project funded by U.S. Department of Defense and UALR between August 2007 and September 2008. He continued to work as an adjunct faculty at UALR between September 2008 and August 2009. He joined the University of the Incarnate Word, 圣安东尼奥, 德州, in August 2009 and currently serves as an Associate Professor of Mathematics at 校本. Dr. Tek is PI of an NSF S-STEM grant. Dr. Tek currently serves as the chair of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics and co-Advisor of the 校本 Math Club. Dr. Tek's personal interest are playing oud, 吉他和大提琴, spending time with family, 阅读, playing tennis and intercultural gathering.
